Create, Edit, and Publish Your First Project

This walkthrough is a start-to-finish guide for creating, editing, and publishing one HappySeeds project.

Pick a starting point

You can begin in two ways:

  • Open Projects and continue an existing app.
  • Open Templates and start from a ready-made structure.

If this is your first project, start from a template. It is easier to improve a real page than to describe everything from a blank screen.

Review before you change

When the project opens, look at the preview first.

Ask yourself what should improve next: the copy, the layout, the visual style, or the publishing setup. Choose one. The best first prompt changes something you can verify immediately.

Good examples:

  • Make the hero headline shorter and more confident.
  • Keep the layout, but make the page feel more premium.
  • Replace the current hero image with something warmer and more product-focused.

Avoid combining unrelated work in the same prompt. A full redesign, billing flow, SEO update, and deployment fix should be separate requests.

Iterate with the preview

After each response, compare the preview with your request. If the result is close, say what to keep and what to refine. If it missed the target, point to the exact section and describe the change again.

The preview is the source of truth. Do not rely only on the AI’s explanation.

Publish the current version

Open Deploy when the page is ready.

Publish the latest version, open the public URL in a fresh tab, and check it before you share it. Preview URLs expire after 30 minutes. For reviews, handoff, or launch, deploy the project and share the published URL instead.

If you make more edits later, publish again so the live page stays current.
