Work in small loops

The fastest workflow is simple:

  1. Ask for one change.
  2. Review the preview.
  3. Keep what worked.
  4. Refine what still feels wrong.

This keeps the project stable and makes it easier to spot when a change helped.

Write prompts with a target

Good prompts name the area, the goal, and any constraint.

Examples:

  • Rewrite the hero headline to feel more premium, but keep it under 12 words.
  • Keep the layout. Improve spacing and typography only.
  • Update the pricing section for freelancers, not agencies.
  • Replace the image direction with something warmer and more editorial.

Avoid vague redesign requests

Broad prompts usually create more review work. Instead of “make it better,” say what better means: clearer, calmer, more playful, more premium, easier to scan, or more conversion-focused.

If you want several changes, split them into visible passes:

  • structure
  • copy
  • visuals
  • publishing

Tell the AI what to keep

When the result is partly right, say that. For example: “Keep the new headline and spacing. Rework only the image and button copy.”

This is often more effective than starting the request over.
